On December 26 ASEPI presented at the Puerta del Sol its pavement intelligent. This place is now 0 km of intelligent pavement that offering its services to the citizens of Madrid. Alarcos Quality Center collaborates with ASEPI evaluating the quality of services that are developed for this new platform.

Alarcos Quality Center sponsors the conference EASE 2012 (16th International Conference on Evaluation & Assessment in Software Engineering) that will take place on 14 May and 15 May 2012 at Ciudad Real.

Alarcos Quality Center kick off its new service, AQC Lab: a laboratory for the evaluation of software product quality. AQC Lab allows companies to obtain an independent evaluation of the quality, based on the new serie of standards ISO/IEC 25000 SQuaRE.

Alarcos Quality Center collaborates with Security Solutions for Information Technologies (SE2IT), company experts in security issues, audit and governance of information technology systems.

University of Castilla-La Mancha, in collaboration with the Spanish company Alarcos Quality Center, Centro de Ensayos Software of Uruguay and Anova IT Consulting, has desigend the First Edicion of the Course at Diploma in Software Testing. Its aim is to train excellent expert software system tests, which dominate the most important aspects of this life cycle stage.

Alarcos Quality Center collaborates with the Research Group in Security and Audit (GSyA). Alarcos Quality Center has sponsored the second edition of the book: "FÁBRICAS DE SOFTWARE: Experiencias, Tecnología y Organización". The aim of this book is to present an overview of the concepts related to software factories and the different technological and methodological aspects of manufacturing of software today. Further is shows the experience of different European and Latin American software factories.
