Establish the evaluation requirements: its goal is to define the purpose of the evaluation, obtain the software product quality requirements, identify the stakeholders and product parts to be included, and define the stringency of the evaluation. Specify the evaluation: its goal is to specify the metrics, techniques and tools used in the evaluation process. Design the evaluation: its goal is to specify a plan that defines the evaluation activities. Execute the evaluation: its goal is to make measurements and apply the set of decision criteria for evaluation specified previously. Conclude the evaluation: its goal is to analyze the evaluation results and create an evaluation report that shows the quality of the software product to the client organization.
